I really enjoyed my time playing Impulsion, and i'm not done yet, i will definetly keep coming back to it to improve my times.The gameplay is good, graphics are simple but great, overall the levels are well crafted.The soundtrack is quite good if you like dnb \/ electronic music.The game will take you few minutes to figure out how to play it well, but once you will have mastered it you will have a great time playing.Few things i don't like: Archie, the voice over announcer, he is so annoying as hell, he will make you go mad (you can disable voices but you will miss the story lines if you do so).Not a fan of the speedcap, could have been better if you gained momentum by bunnyhoping or strafe jumping but the game is mostly about air control so it's not really a big problem.You only reach high speeds while moving through blue force fields or using air control.Also really wished there was an fov slider and a workshop for the game as it doesn't have a lot of levels, it would be perfect.Highly recommanded for parkour games enthusiasts.Rating 7\/10.. It's a lot of fun albeit pretty short if you're not too interested in speedrunning. I took roughly 3 hours for my first playthrough and just under 1 hour for my first completed speedrun. It's probably worth noting you'll get most of the achievements just by finishing the game once.Archie's voice lines when you die can get quite grating, especially if you're good at the game like me. This game is incredibly fun to play, and becomes better and better as you learn to do things faster. Grinding for good times on individual levels as well as the entire speedrun is challenging and gives you a good adrenaline rush. The community is growing steadily and the devs are listening to feedback and actively communicating with the players. Definitely worth the price!
